Peter Turchet has joined Athletica Sports Systems Inc. (“Athletica”) February 2026, in the role of Global Business Development Leader. Peter joins the industry-leading innovation team at Athletica supporting the aggressive growth agenda made possible through collaborations with OES Scoreboards and is leading the commercial deployment of the Crystaplex® LiveLED full perimeter dasher board systems.
Prior to joining Athletica, Peter served as Executive lead of International Events and Hockey Operations at Rinkboards Inc. for 30 plus years. Peter built an unparalleled customer service model helping Rinkboards Inc. increase revenues and widen its customer base to include the National Hockey League and American Hockey League clubs, as well as Hockey Canada, Skate Canada, International Management Group, and the International Skating Union. Peter has successfully worked with diverse range of global and regional brands to reimagine how they are represented in the field of play.
Peter’s creative and operational leadership has helped deliver events around the world including the Olympic Games, the World Figure Skating Championships, the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the World Junior Hockey Championships and The Memorial Cup. His production broadcast experience touches TSN, ESPN, and equals with international audiences. Today, activations, corporate sponsorship and partnership marketing programs, are converging to enhance the fan experience, and grow revenue more than ever. Peter will support our league partners, our customers, sponsors, and LED product development to enhance the way we see the field of play.
